Workforce – Annual Report 18-19

The number of our Associates has increased from 172 to 181. These are professional tutors, music leaders, artists and practitioners as well as organisations – all who contribute an estimated minimum £2.3m per year7 to the county’s economy.

Associate Organisations that ran their own programmes of performance events and activities reported 286 different music related performances. They also provided 85 different participatory activities

Having introduced our Inclusive Music Aware Associate ‘status’ the previous year we now have 18 individual Associates who have pledged to this.

Our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events attracted 626 attendances up from 554 last year. This included 128 different schools, 38 Associates and 9 other music leaders.  Overall, 91% of individual Associates stated that they had done some form of CPD during the year.
