Inclusion Network – Later this year we hope to launch a new Inclusion Network for those of you who teach children and young people with additional needs.  The network will offer a regular Inclusion e-Bulletin, opportunities to attend termly Zoom meetings, and CPD to support musical inclusion.  If you’re interested in joining the network please send an email to sophie.amstell@wiltshiremusicconnect.org.uk

Inclusive Music Aware (IMA) ‘Badge’ – we’re aware that our IMA badge for Associates hasn’t been looked at for a while and needs to be as part of our EDI work. Some of you will have noticed we’re asking about this in the Associate Data return (ADD LINK?) and soon we will be asking you about how you think w e could develop it further. It is factored into the new Associate Directory and an ‘Additional Needs’ button that filters the providers list.

Adaptive Instruments – as part of our Equity Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) and Digital work, we plan to assemble a library of Adaptive / Accessible instruments to support Schools and Associate’s work. Initially this is likely to be a range of different items so that we can all become more aware of the possibilities that are increasingly available. We will also provide resources and some CPD to accompany the equipment.  More details to follow in the coming months.
