We’ll review it before it’s published on the page below.
If you decide to contact providers of participatory activities and events listed here, we advise you to always ask to see evidence of their DBS check, insurance, take up their references (if appropriate) and ask questions about both the safety and quality aspects of their work.
Please also note that not all events listed here will be suitable for children of all ages – we advise you to check suitability with the provider / venue.
French Horn Ensemble Day
6 October @ 10:30 am - 5:30 pm
£40Open to all French Horn players aged 18 or under of all musical abilities.
Enjoy an inspirational day with four fabulous tutors at Wells Cathedral School in
collaboration with Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The day will focus on horn
ensemble playing and the workshops will take place in and around Cedars Hall,
our state of the art concert hall.
The day will include:
• Coached ensembles to develop your ensemble and horn playing
• A lunchtime recital by the tutoring team and Royal Birmingham
Conservatoire Horn Quartet for participants
• Paxman Horns trade stand with horns and accessories to try and buy
• Lotto Lessons – a chance to win a 1:1 horn lesson with the tutors
• A concert featuring the participants for family and friends at the end of the day.
