Bitesized CPD: First Steps in Starting an Instrumental Group

FreeThis online bitesize CPD aims to give you the confidence to establish an instrumental ensemble at your school. Suitable for non-specialists as well as those with more experience, it will include practical activities and discussion focussed on how to establish a mixed ability instrumental ensemble of any type.
Participants will take away:
• Ideas for how to run rehearsals efficiently and easily.
• Tips for how to support the children in performing successfully together as an ensemble.
• Suggestions for how to source and arrange music that will enable the children to sound fantastic very quickly!
