If you decide to contact providers of participatory activities and events listed here, we advise you to always ask to see evidence of their DBS check, insurance, take up their references (if appropriate) and ask questions about both the safety and quality aspects of their work.
Please also note that not all events listed here will be suitable for children of all ages – we advise you to check suitability with the provider / venue.

Mental Health First Aid Aware

We’re really pleased to be able to offer a fourth Mental Health Awareness course. This is being fully funded by Wiltshire Council through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and has been offered to us by Tracy From Open MInds Mental Health who has led all our Mental Health Aware Sessions. It provides an opportunity to learn about how to support friends, family, colleagues and students (even across the computer screen) and also how to understand your own signs of becoming less well and how to look after yourself. Whether you are teaching from home, in schools, online or face to face – or taking some time out to let things settle, this course will help you manage the changes you are needing to make in these times of continued uncertainties and financial concerns and to build a tool kit for now and the future. We want to help you continue to thrive in the work that you do. You will get hard copy books and a certificate on completion of the course.
If anyone has already completed the Aware course and would like to take the full 2 day Mental Health First Aid Training Tracy is able to offer some funded places on that training too. Please let us know.
