Wiltshire Music Education Awards 2020

We are delighted to launch the Wiltshire Music Education Awards – deadline for nominations is 5pm on Monday 15 June 2020.

These awards are designed to celebrate people and schools in the county who dedicate themselves to creating outstanding music education for children and young people.

For 2020, there are 5 award categories, each with their own criteria:

1. Wiltshire Primary School Music Teacher of the Year 2020
(open to teachers in both mainstream and special schools)

2. Wiltshire Secondary School Music Teacher of the Year 2020
(open to teachers in both mainstream and special schools)

3. Wiltshire Singing School of the Year 2020
(open to any school in Wiltshire)

4. Outstanding Contribution to Music Education Award 2020
(open to any individual living or working in Wiltshire)

5. Music Educator of the Year 2020 – Young People’s Choice
(open to any individual/teacher living or working in Wiltshire)

Anyone over the age of 18 can make a nomination for categories 1 to 4.

For category 5, only those under the age of 18 can make a nomination, but they must have permission from an adult (e.g. a parent or guardian) to complete and submit the nomination form.

The deadline for all nominations is 5pm on Monday 15 June 2020.
