Training – Mental Health First Aiders
Following a course supported by Wiltshire Music Connect ‘s CPD fund Tracy Sullivan, who some of you may have heard speak at our last conference, has gone on to do further training to be able to train Mental Health First Aiders. She’s just launched her first 2 courses and has asked that we share the information with you so here it is.
“To mark World Mental Health Day we are thrilled to share that Town Hall Arts is now a centre that delivers Mental Health First Aid Training. A 2 day course that helps people understand how they can best support colleagues, friends and family who may be suffering with mental ill health and break down the stigma that surrounds it. This training is aimed at anyone over the age of 16 but is applicable to anyone from early teens.
