STEAM Workshop Opportunity with Conductive Music

We’re looking for 6 Primary Schools in Wiltshire to take part

We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Conductive Music – a brilliant organisation that brings Music, the Sciences and Creativity together to provide innovative STEAM workshops for schools.

We’re looking for six Wiltshire Primary Schools that would like to have Conductive Music workshops in June (9th-12th) this year.

Using a multi-disciplinary approach, Conductive Music will teach your pupils how to make musical instruments using design, creative coding and electronics. They will then support them to compose music and perform it. They use free web-based software so that schools can carry on with their activities in the future at no cost.

“The workshop was a fantastic way of teaching children of all abilities music and science. It enabled them to see how electricity works and to see a different side of music. They left the workshop feeling really inspired! A brilliant experience.”   Cecilia Maude, Crowlands Primary, Havering

Each school will receive two days of workshops and can pick the year groups that will take part (Years 1 to 6.)

The normal cost for two days of workshops is more that £500 per school but Wiltshire Music Connect is pleased to subsidise the workshops this year bringing the cost down to just £100 per school.

To express an interest in this opportunity please send us an email explaining, in no more than 150 words, why you would like your school to take part, by Monday 23rd March to:

If you are interested in this opportunity but can’t accommodate the June dates then please send us an email anyway as we will be offering a further round of subsidised workshops next year (2020-21).
