Associates who are Inclusive Music Aware

Wiltshire Music Connect Associate Providers can indicate their awareness of inclusive music practice in the Associate Directory. associates need to make their inclusive music CPD pledge by completing this form – and will then be recognised, and searchable as “Inclusive Music Aware” in our Associate Directory.

To support this we provide regular free CPD for Associates.

A quality framework for use in music-making sessions working with young people in SEN/D settings. Drake Music have produced an SEN/D version of the original Youth Music Quality Framework which is used by practitioners to help them understand, measure and evaluate quality in their work in SEN/D settings.

Sounds of Intent is an assessment framework for those making music with children and young people with learning difficulties (ranging from PMLD to SLD to autism). It is designed to help teachers and parents relate what they observe in music sessions with a child into more concrete statements/ levels and then use this to plan activities that will support progression.

Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme (AIPS) enables pupils of local authority and academy schools to purchase musical instruments through their school net of VAT providing the sale to the pupil meets the criteria.
