About
- I have been a teacher in all sorts of places from early years settings, primary schools, secondary schools, teacher training settings, plus running workshops, singing projects, conducting choirs and conference speaking.
WHAT I CAN OFFER:
CPD bespoke training in any aspect of primary music to suit your staff, INSET days, twilight/staff meetings on composing, using classroom percussion, singing safely, starting a school choir, developing music throughout your school, instrument audits!
Whole school or Key Stage singing sessions as a one-off or on a regular basis, working towards a performance, just for fun, developing staff confidence
Staff support: team teaching, lesson planning, lesson models, developing a music curriculum to suit your school and staff abilities
School choirs: establishing, supporting or running them
Song writing workshops, a school song, a song for your choir, a unique piece for your special event or occasion

Working with special needs
II worked for three years at Wiltshire College, with students with moderate and severe learning difficulties. I have always managed, and differentiated for, my students, whatever their ability, in every group I have taught.
I have also always promoted inclusive learning in all my schools and choirs, and I have several members of my choirs with SLD who just as much part of the group as any other member.
