Get in touch

The providers listed in our Directory have all confirmed to us that they have the following in place.

• DBS checks
• Public Liability Insurance
• Child Protection awareness training and to be able to refer to guidance on how this relates to their work

We check these when an Associate is interviewed. Associates are then required to confirm that these have been refreshed or renewed at appropriate points. We do not however, request to see the refreshed or renewed documentation.

We also require Associates to provide at least two referees to whom they can direct their clients if required. We do not automatically take up references and therefore do not hold stock references for our Associates.

If you decide to contact or hire them, you should always ask to see evidence of their DBS check and Insurance yourself, take up their references and ask questions about both the safety and quality aspects of their music related practice.

If you find content which you consider to be inappropriate, inaccurate, misleading or owned by others, please contact the individual or organisation in question email and copy us in to your correspondence at info@wiltshiremusicconnect.org.uk

What I / we help young people achieve

My syllabus is selected for young learners to be able to develop their musical skills progressively while allowing their unique musical personality to develop. Students are encouraged to compose their own music, improvise, listen to and write music all while working towards graded exams if they so choose. They gain a well rounded knowledge of notation, music and theory which helps to develop a deeper understanding and appreciation, of not only music but of their own ability.
