About
I am a multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol UK and currently studying towards my Masters in Music Therapy at UWE.
I studied music performance at The Academy of Contemporary Music (Guildford, UK) specialising in the bass guitar and graduated in 2011 with a 1st class degree.
In 2016 I gained PGCert in Sounds of Intent (specialising in music and SEND) through a scholarship programme with music charity Soundabout and The University of Roehampton.
I also teach bass guitar lessons from beginner to advance, guitar lessons for beginners to intermediate and ukulele lessons for beginners to intermediate.
Previous teaching and workshop experience includes work with the following companies, schools & organisations:

As well as teaching I have been a touring musician (playing bass, guitar and singing backing vocals) for Brit-award winning singer song writer Kate Nash. Since 2011 I’ve toured across North America, South America, Europe and Canada and performed at many prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Reading & Leeds, Bestival, Rock AM Ring and many more.
I have also worked with Charli XCX (performance on Alan Carrs Chatty Man), James Arthur (Performed with him during the X-Factor 2012 final) and supported Queen & Adam Lambert on their European tour in June 2016 with my previous band.
What I / we help young people achieve
I take pride in creating a fun and personal learning environment for all students.
I believe that my knowledge (through formal education and training) combined with experience as a professional touring musician helps inspire students in many ways.
I can help young people develop musicianship, musical skills and techniques, whilst giving a honest insight into developing a hobby into a potential career.
Musical development and enjoyment are my top priority but not the only. Every session also aims to also support and develop confidence, self awareness and emotional wellbeing.
