Christine Moore
About
I graduated from the London College of Music, when William Lloyd-Webber was director. My qualifications are G.L.C.M and L.L.C.M(TD) in both Cello and Piano. I have enjoyed 38 years teaching all ages and all levels from beginner to Grade 8 in both Piano and Cello. I also gained PGCE, having trained and worked as a primary class teacher in the centre of Cardiff.
I worked for the Wiltshire Music service for 11 years. I am also a mother of four girls. I frequently accompany pupils during their exam performance to support them as well as remaining up to date with exam procedures.
I am familiar with the exams of Associated Board, Trinity Guildhall and London College/Thames University. I have also taught keyboard .
I organise occasional concerts to enable pupils to develop performance skills.
What I / we help young people achieve
I have lots of experience with all ages and abilities. I always aim to promote enjoyment and confidence as well as achievement.
I believe that I have a flexible approach to teaching, regarding each pupil as an individual. I feel honoured to be a part of a child's growth and development.
