About

We teach people music and help them feel awesome!

Music lessons for guitar, piano, drums and voice. We also teach bass and ukulele.

Back when I started teaching in 2005, I saw a need for a music teaching philosophy and framework that make lessons fun, easy, and helped people feel awesome, whilst still being high quality.

Now we have a team of wonderful teachers who love using the same philosophy and framework to spread our joy for learning music far and wide.

What I / we help young people achieve

We've been running since 2005. Our longest retained student has been twelve years, and many have been coming for 10+ years. We have many great players who are benefiting from being in our Tribe with their tangible skills achieved on their instruments, as well as their emotional well being. We feel very strongly connected to the families we work with and they provide us great feedback on what ways to work with our students best.

We make it FUN, we make it EASY...we make YOU AWESOME!!

Our Training & Development

Teachers are selected on 1: character fit – they must love working with kids 2: skillset – they need to be a good musician 3: logistical – they are available to teach consistently and not disappear to play gigs etc.

We train them to teach to the “BMT Standard” – following our teaching philosophy, framework and music programmes. We also give them liberty to teach the way that works for them and the student best.
