I have been teaching guitar since 2005. I have experience with all levels and ages and cover a wide range of styles and techniques from on electric or acoustic guitar from rock, blues and pop, to folk and jazz.

I currently teach at schools and privately in Bradford on Avon.

I am grade 8 and DBS checked.

What I / we help young people achieve

Music is a great passion of mine and I love being able to pass it on to others, particularly in a society where modern technology can easily distract us from learning a great skill that only time and determination will develop.

I pride myself on being flexible and tailor the lessons to suit the student's needs and musical tastes. I feel that modern music is constantly evolving and I keep up to date by learning and transcribing new songs that students love to learn as they hear it on the radio or online.

I use the Rockschool and RGT syllabuses for grade exams and have an extremely high pass rate.

I run band workshops periodically and put on an annual concert where all my students, regardless of age or ability, get to perform to parents, friends and family as part of a band.

As a father of three I love working with children and young people.

Working with special needs

I have experience with teaching children with special needs such as aspergers and ADHD.
