Anthony Seaman - Rock Guitar School
About
Combining professional music industry experience with over 15 years of success teaching guitar, I am passionate about sharing these expertise to develop and guide students through all aspects of music education.
My experience began with teaching guitar classes and individuals both privately and for Yamaha Music Schools in the West Midlands. Now I have started Rock Guitar School in Wiltshire and Somerset and enjoy bringing all my years of classroom and international stage expertise to students and the rock stars of tomorrow.
Teaching Styles: one to one, classes, remote/online
Qualifications: Honours degree in Popular Music, A Level Music and Music Technology
Professional Experience: International session guitarist for ex members of Simple Minds, 80s Star Owen Paul and various other UK and US acts
What I / we help young people achieve
Students of all abilities, with a wide range of learning styles, and with special educational requirements have enjoyed learning electric guitar throughout my teaching experience, whether in schools, privately, or at my previous appointment at Yamaha Music Schools in the West Midlands. In the musical classroom, students will benefit from improved coordination, listening, concentration, communication skills, teamwork and patience, which will no doubt improve a child’s future prospects in all aspects of life.
Throughout learning, students benefit from following a proven and accredited rock or acoustic guitar course, through which genuine progress can be seen, and can lead on to obtaining valuable grade qualifications, with my help and guidance, if the student wishes. All theory is however put into immediate practice by performing amazing Rock and Pop songs, and lessons are structured to ensure that learning the guitar is fun and musically rewarding every step of the way.
Perhaps the most exciting prospect for those starting out learning guitar, is the thought of being able to one day perform awesome music, live and loud on stage. I am very pleased to be able to offer guidance and encouragement towards this goal by organising regular Rock Concerts for my students to participate in, even for those just beginning learning electric guitar. Not only do I have years of previous experience coordinating such evens, but I am also a music industry professional, touring internationally with ex members of Simple Minds and other 80s stars, and I am always pleased to see the rock stars of tomorrow enjoying themselves on stage.
