We’re delighted to have launched a new partnership with Associate David Garcia to make his innovative Mathewhackits programme available to Wiltshire Schools at a discounted price.
Mathewhackits is a music programme designed to help primary school children memorise elements of the maths curriculum.
You don’t have to be a music specialist teacher to use the programme – it’s straightforward to follow and makes learning music – and maths – fun for pupils and teachers!
As well as training the brain and helping to develop hand-eye coordination, using Mathewhackits will specifically help pupils to memorise their times tables and number bonds, and to read the time on a clock.
Find out more by watching this short video.
When you purchase a Mathewhackits license for your school, you’ll receive a log in to the dedicated Mathewhackits website giving you access to all the video content to play for your pupils at any time. Multiple teachers from the same school can all log in so that you can build the Mathewhackits programme into your daily routine.
With support from Wiltshire Music Connect you can now purchase a Mathewhackits license with a generous discount. An annual license usually costs £150 but Wiltshire Schools now pay just £105. Schools will need to purchase through the Right Choice Store. (Every school in Wiltshire has a Right Choice account – ask your School Business manager for access.)
To make use of the Mathewhackits programme your school will need access to a set of Boomwhackers – these are cheap (approx. £18 for a set of 8) and easy to purchase if you do not have them already. Simply type ‘boomwhackers’ into your search engine and browse the options.
