POSTPONED Unleash your inner songwriter! 2 sessions

7th July 2020 @ 3:00 pm

Wiltshire Secondary School bite size teacher training 2 sessions: 7 AND 14 July at 3pm

Whether you teach PE, Maths, Science, Music, Geography or any other subject these two online sessions will help you get started, or give you more confidence in your song writing.

You might be a beginner or a songwriter interested in trying a new approach to writing. You will be given a topic to write about and will be shown some straightforward techniques to devise lyrics, melody and accompaniment. You will then upload your work to a private soundcloud account (not accessible to the public) for feedback and suggestions to develop what you have created.

You don’t need to have written a song before and you don’t need to play an instrument to take part (although you are welcome if you do). You will need to feel confident to sing and share your work.

Dates: Session 1 Tuesday 7th July 3pm – 3.45pm Session 2 Tuesday 14th July 3pm-3.45pm

Each participant is also offered 1 x 10min surgery (phone or online) between sessions for additional one-to-one support, guidance and problem-solving.
