This event is part of our Wiltshire Primary Music Conference 2021

This workshop, facilitated by James Redwood, will be packed full of ideas to scaffold creative music making lessons in Primary Schools. The games and exercises will be deliverable by all teachers (whether trained musicians or generalists) and will offer a range of activities to provide a foundation on which creative music making and composition lessons can be built.

The session will assume no prior knowledge of music leading but will also act as a refresher for more experienced practitioners.

James Redwood is an award winning composer and music leader whose practice thrives on collaboration and partnership. Alongside creative delivery, James regularly leads CPD and training sessions for Spitalfields Music and a number of Music Hubs around the country.

Please note we are subsiding 100% of the cost of this event for Wiltshire Primary teachers. This means that it is free for you to attend, however, please note an unsubsidised place would cost £35 per person. If you book a place and subsequently find you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking or let us know so someone else can benefit.
