Apply for funding to develop exciting and vibrant cultural education activity
This is a chance for schools to develop the curriculum and address mental health and well-being.
The Wiltshire and Swindon Cultural Education Partnership WSCEP aims to improve educational, cultural and social outcomes for children and young people in Wiltshire and Swindon with a particular focus on broadening effective interaction between Arts, Culture & Heritage and Schools.
Full details of this new Open Fund, including eligibility, criteria and application form, will be published on Tues 23rd April and will be promoted via Right Choice (Wiltshire) and other networks including the WSCEP e-bulletin to which you can subscribe here
Twilight Information Events for schools and cultural organisations will take place as follows:
- Salisbury (Arts Centre) on Thurs 2 May from 4.15-5.30pm – register to attend here
- Swindon (Create Studios, Wyvern Theatre) on Thurs 2 May from 4.15-5.30pm – register to attend here
- Devizes (Town Hall) on Tues 7 May from 4.15-5.30pm – register to attend here
- Chippenham (History Centre) on Weds 8 May from 4.15-5.30pm – register to attend here
For those unable to attend any of the above, an online presentation (using free Zoom technology) will be available on Friday 3 May at 12.45 prompt. Please note this option will not contain the same level of interactivity as the twilight events. Register to view it here.
The application deadline for this fund will be 12 noon on 1 July 2019 and a limited amount of support is available for schools from the WSCEP between the twilight events and application deadline. Funding decisions will be made by mid July.
